Maggie Vaughan - Voice Teacher

An accomplished singer, performer and voice instructor, Maggie Vaughan earned a Bachelors degree in Music Theater from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music near Washington, D.C. Maggie has studied with some of the best teachers in Chicago, D.C., New York, and Los Angeles.

Maggie has a long list of performing credits from musical theater to opera. In recent years, she has branched out to extend her own abilities into Pop/Rock, currently studying with Florence Riggs in Los Angeles.

After teaching and coaching fellow performers on the road for 15 years, she opened her own voice studio in Hermosa Beach, California in 1995. In teaching, Maggie's focus is on keeping singers vocally healthy and relaxed. She enjoys relating her performance experience to help singers move past shyness, and to discover the enjoyment of singing. Her goal is for the students to develop strong, healthy vocal techniques that allows them to express themselves freely in their chosen style.
